Mixed Workshop: Today we failed to reach a quorum, so we had to postpone the beginning of fourth rotation. There are some new pieces on the blog since Tuesday — I gave out a second packet of stuff — and I would like responses to McConnell and McInerney by Tuesday. We’ll begin the fourth rotation then with Shamp, Jones and Flowers and see how quickly we can get through it.

Fiction Workshop: Today we workshopped Kate and Sydney. Please have Taylor, Robin, Madi R. and Alyx ready for Tuesday. I know it’s a lot, but you’ve had a long time to do the first two! We’ll get through as many as we are able to on Tuesday. Keep up the good work, and not to sound like a broken record, but those of you who have not been in class for whatever reason: remember that you’re still responsible for posting comments and doing annotations!

The Siren: Everyone who has a piece for May, we’d really like to see those Tuesday for editing.

The Daily Prompt: Today we played Apples to Apples. Those of you that were in class, your prompt is to use the cards that you ended up with in some fashion for an entry for next week. 5 new entries due Tuesday, as usual.

Reading for Writers: Today we continued watching Breakfast…. We unfortunately were not able to watch it all, so we will finish it up on Tuesday. Remember that your prompt for the novella needs to be completed by Tuesday as well (you’ll have some time in class to work, but if you are not very close to being finished, you’ll want to do it for homework).

Survey: CNF: Today we played a game that highlighted the similarities between fiction and CNF. We will continue it Tuesday and see who wins!
